When kids grow up and parents grow old, their roles are surprisingly reversed. You must stomach the fact that your parents are now vulnerable, insecure and prone to loneliness. And you can’t change the fact.
You need to do what they did some twenty or thirty years back when you were just a toddler. They convinced you to get up and walk on while they stood behind and said, ‘I’m right here and will be here always.’
