…every single beat of my heart( 1 min read)

100ww_w441

I was done setting up my camera for the perfect shot. Standing on the edge of the cliff, as I looked down into the endless chasm, it gave me goosebumps. I felt my hair stand on end. But at the same time, I could hear every single beat of my heart.

I looked up at the Sun; it was about to set. Suddenly Dad’s words echoed in my ears –Β dreams hinder rationality…mark my words…you’ll be a failure.

I texted him some of my shots and typed –

I may not achieve success, Dad, but I’ll have a life lived without regrets.

  6. Well said! A life well-lived is one where chances are taken, goals are pursued, and self worth is found from within – not in others. Fantastic motivational story — thank you so much for joining us this week!
